Early Days edit

TheKillerBuddha joined Oldfag in late July of 2020. He headed out of spawn and set up a small fishing shack a few thousand blocks out, and there he found his first slime chunk. Heading deeper into the map, TheKillerBuddha became active in chat, contributing his technical gameplay knowledge and communicating positively with many players. He ended up joining forces with Charlston1, and together they founded Leaf Base, also known as the Valley of Leaves due to the carpet of leaf blocks TheKillerBuddha covered the terrain in to help control mob spawns. At Leaf Base, TheKillerBuddha discovered another slime chunk and built his first AFK slime farm. Because Leaf Base was relatively close to Spawn, TheKillerBuddha and Charlston1 left the base to establish one further into the map. Lacking elytra, they rode on horseback until they found a suitable location, and there they established BSI, basing around a village with a 10 emerald Mending trade. TheKillerBuddha remained active in chat and befriended SoggySofa, who gave him his first elytra and mapart. After becoming bored with BSI, TheKillerBuddha returned to Leaf Base where he began grinding the AFK slime farm 24/7. In September, Klayyy invited TheKillerBuddha and several other players, including FancyWater and ScubaSteve1616, to participate in a spawn event commemorating 9-11-2001, and there TheKillerBuddha was introduced to several other influential players on the server.

Becoming Established edit

TheKillerBuddha continued to grind gear and slime at Leaf Base. In mid September, ScubaSteve1616 and FancyWater would invite him to join Tyvia. TheKillerBuddha accepted and traveled out to Tyvia base, which featured several large builds and an automatic sorting system that sorted every stackable item in the game. TheKillerBuddha built several farms at Tyvia, including automated carrot, potato, tree, ice, and mob farms, as well as a simple but effective villager breeder. TheKillerBuddha also found a 3rd slime chunk and built an AFK farm with an autofisher, and he spent many months fishing and grinding slime 24/7, eventually reaching one of the top playtimes while accumulating a stockpile of slime blocks. ScubaSteve1616 and TheKillerBuddha also grinded at a rudimentary obsidian generator, farming enough obsidian to build 3 gold farms at the base. TheKillerBuddha and ScubaSteve1616 built a simple wither skeleton farm, and Buddha used approximately 100,000 stone slabs to create a spawn proofed perimeter around the farm, resulting in decent rates. TheKillerBuddha remained active in chat and with his game knowledge combined with the growth of Tyvia's wealth. he began to gain some notoriety within the Oldfag community, aided by his constant presence in the server. While at Tyvia, TheKillerBuddha built several map arts and developed connections with other groups on the server, most notably the Ancaps. TheKillerBuddha also began to gain a reputation as a friendly and trusted player, visiting many small bases and offering help and materials to less established players on the server.

Spawn Trench edit

In October 2020 TheKillerBuddha, ScubaSteve1616, and FancyWater began work on a spawn trench project, being helped by members of the Ancaps as well as Charlston1, TuxISCool, and MortalVeteran16. They set out to make the largest spawn trench in anarchy Minecraft, complete with a lava wall. Using TNT duping flying machines, they cleared out a large 2000 block-long path to bedrock over the course of a month. However, they faced resistance from a few PVPers and were forced to work late into the night to make progress. With slime spawning at the time being extremely slow, and with the group working on the trench suffering from exhaustion and burnout, the trench project was put on hold. But TheKillerBuddha took the lessons learned from bombing the trench and used it to create a large perimeter at Tyvia in order to develop an AFK creeper farm, in the process uncovering several additional slime chunks. However, before the farm could be completed, Tyvia base was leaked and the members gathered all the resources they could carry to establish a new base in a more secure location.

Modern Day edit

A new base for the group was established in the middle of December 2020. Quickly developing into one of the most efficient farm bases on the server, a powerful gold farm was erected within two days by ScubaSteve1616 and TheKillerBuddha created another villager breeder to begin grinding. An industrial zone was established, and TheKillerBuddha and ScubaSteve1616 built several automated AFK farms. TheKillerBuddha found a slime chunk located in the industrial zone and crafted another slime farm, and with his alts he grinded out perfect trades on Farmers, Clerics, and Librarians from the villager breeder. The automatic produce farms resulted in nearly endless emeralds, and combined with a powerful gold farm it resulted in the group being able to produce large amounts of tools, armor, and raw enchanted books for future use. The use of AFK farms also allowed the group to amass large amounts of resources, most notably a large stash of slime blocks grinded from the growing number of slime chunks in TheKillerBuddha's possession. However, as 2020 turned to 2021 many members of the base became less active on the server, leaving TheKillerBuddha, FancyWater, and Piff_Chiefington as the main active members. Klayyy and MortalVeteran16, facing a similar situation at the Ghanda base, invited TheKillerBuddha and several other active and trusted players to form the Ghanda 2.5 group. At the newly revived Ghanda, TheKillerBuddha installed his standard villager breeder and auto carrot/potato farms, as well as a fully automated wheat farm. He also discovered yet another slime chunk at the base, bringing his map wide total to 12 slime chunks overall.
