Election

I (hifunc) am calling for an election to have myself, or really anyone other than the current bureaucrat become bureaucrat. I have concerns about the current bureaucrat's neutrality when it comes to things he's done on this wiki in the past, and in the broader community of the Minecraft server he isn't the most trusted person. I haven't contributed to this wiki because of my concerns with him. I'm pretty sure other people in the broader community feel the same way. I would appreciate if he would be willing to step down voluntarily for myself or a third party, but I don't know if that will happen, so I'm starting this to try and build consensus. I will be contacting people who have contributed to this wiki in the past to try and get their attention here to get their input. I have more thoughts on this issue but right now I'm just trying to lay out the bare bones.

Namy Opinion

Oldfag.org has been dead, and now is the time to revive oldfag and this wiki. Namy_McNameface believes that the oldfag wiki should be an accurate, and expansive collection of server history. Namy_McNameface would like all major and many minor groups, players, locations, bases, events, battles, movements, drama, etc on the server to have well written, detailed, and accurate pages. There should be outlines and guidelines to help new people make quality contributions to better communicate and preserve the server’s rich history. Contributions to wiki are valuable and take effort, so everyone who has played a decent amount and did/knows about cool stuff should feel encouraged to contribute, and should feel that their legitimate contributions are valued.Namy McNameface (talk) 20:15, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
