This was the first crusade on Oldfag and the largest community event in early Oldfag history. It was established with the event that instead of calling them incursions like on other anarchy servers, they would instead be called crusades. Crusade and incursion hold more or less the same meanings, except that due to the nature of the first crusade, the emphasis on killing newfags is not considered as strong, as much as it being a gathering of Oldfags at spawn.

The first crusade was most prominently marked by the massive spawn wall that came out of it, affecting spawn forever. It ultimately fell flat when it was realized the amount of newfags barely increased, the player boost expected from Constantiam going to 9b9t instead. It was considered a failure by most crusaders at the time, although it did have some long lasting impact.

Conception and early preparations

Namy_McNameface first came up with the incursion idea. A spawn in incrusion set to happen on 9/13/2019. He talked about it in chat, but not much steam was gained. BooBooBaloney started talking to others about it, and got sirsting in on the idea. sirsting soon set up a discord for the "incursion against const (constantiam.net)", and because of this, sirsting was the main leader of the crusade. Soon, after some plans were determined, it was decided that the crusade would start on 9/11.

Buildup

When the anarchy server constantiam announced it would enable the whitelist, the people of oldfag had mixed reactions. The majority of the player base called for a incursion, but it was renamed to crusade afterwards. The goal put in place was to make preparations and stop a possible constantiam takeover of oldfag. The Spawn Tower was set as the main base of operations and it began.

Start/Hype begins (Day 1-2)

SnappyHiker, Lavacaust, Namy_Mcnameface, Analtorturer223, and 864 were the claimed first to enter spawn. Anyways; the first order of busniess was to meet up at -355 -255 at the Spawn Tower, a old build restoration job by SnappyHiker and convert it to 100% obsidian. Quickly retttt and sirsting arrived and donated their vast quantities of obsidian. The conversion was completed in a bit under an hour, SnappyHiker got to guarding it while Namy_Mcnameface began making the wall around spawn. Ground and cubert3d came and helped with the Spawn Tower for a short while before heading on patrols again.

Middle/Maximum Hype and the dieoff(Day 3-4)

The Spawn base was expanded into multiple new parts, the wall progress had gone faster. But out of the dust an anti crusade rose; what they did was nothing, their 1 active member was killed by SnappyHiker by accident and quit. With no one to fight against the crusade started fighting amongst themselves. The user Avida got bored and began to bedbomb SnappyHiker and Analtorturer223 when they were at the nether. The crusade began falling apart and people left spawn to go back to their bases.

Closing Ceremony (Day 4-6)

With Namy_Mcnameface's spawn wall 3/4 finished the last few people left spawn. The crusade died due to a lack of opponents and newfags to kill. The constantium takeover never happened and instead it hit 9b9t like a hard rock, the few who came were turned back by the crusaders.
