Blocktoberfest I

The Blocktoberfest was a event which was active through the whole month of October 2019. It was started by the players called SSJNSSJNSSJNSSJN as a halloween event where a lot of players (mostly oldfags) were supose to come together and build a new home at the Mushroom biome at -4444 -3333.

The days before it started

SuperHunchen and SSJNSSJNSSJNSSJN on the 28th of September on the blocktoberfest islands

SSJN used the discord of the then disbanded Samaria to plan and announce a special event coming October 1st. On the 28th. of September SSJNSSJNSSJNSSJN saw the player SuperHunchen at 0 0 nether and chose him to be the first person to be at the place which would become Blocktoberfest. They began attempting to terraform the island to make most to all of the grass green on it with not much success, so they called people in like Lavacaust/nwop, SnappyHiker, GenKrazyKiller, Stormtroopers, and Namy_McNameface to help them. A lot of the island was terraformed to make the grass green and the players didn't stop terraforming it until October was over.

The beginning

People starting going there almost everyday and it became really fast the biggest event on the whole server, with almost every known player building a house at it and visiting it at least once, of course there were some conflicts happening at it (mostly because of Lavacaust/nwop), but they were only small conflicts and nothing major bad ever happened beside some players dying to each other. At the beginning people like Arount, SuperHunchen and Bailey/uwu6 were building their houses at Blocktoberfest and a lot of players used it as a meeting point.

Remarkable features and builds

One of the remarkable things about Blocktoberfest were the pumpkins which were basically everywhere not only on the island but also in the nether, showing the path to the portal that leads to the island, a lot of these pumpkins are still in the nether showing the way to the now abandoned island. There were a lot of builds made outside of houses like the two popbob heads and the fighting arena.

The height of Blocktober fest

This was the time where Blocktoberfest was a huge thing and known to everyone. There were houses everywhere (some were griefed of course like bailey/uwu6's), there were was always at least one person there at normal playtimes. Quite a lot of players visited it to fight in the arena to see what it has become or just to build something there themselves. Even John200410 visited the event for himself

The death of Blocktoberfest

Three 4th. through October the player Rusherfag got stacked by the player Lavacaust/nwop, and they together griefed Blocktober fest, and as if that wasn't enough SuperHunchen griefed it even more making it almost impossible to build anything there. With a decline of players going there and October ending it was enough and the Blocktober fest was ended.

Anything after October

The only "major" things that happened on the Blocktoberfest islands after October was the player SuerHunchen stealing 8-11 shulkers from the player Kokichiiii, and people rarely fighting there.

Blocktwoberfest (Blocktoberfest 2)

A year after the first event, the server still big and SSJN still active, he hosted a second Blocktoberfest.

The search for the first island

Weeks before the event, people like Arbiter and some members of Kekistan who disliked SSJN were dedicated to finding the event spot and griefing it before it took place, hopefully cancelling it entirely. They roamed spawn searching for anything and taking any hunch, knowing certain qualities about it like how it would probably be an island, be less than ~10k from spawn and have unique sounding coords. About 3 days before October somebody from Kekistan found it and together they griefed it with withers and TNT. What could not be griefed was the massive obsidian pumpkin roof, which had to be abandoned.

October 1st

Despite their attempts to end the event, it went on, SSJN simply finding a new spot and building there. Come October 1st he publicized the coords (-5500 5000) as he planned, with pvpers like Johnmcswag, Jqq, and Viktisen protecting him.

The event was huge, with over 30 players of all varieties coming at once with little pvping for many hours until rival pvpers came. SSJN gave out things like pumpkins and iron to make golems, people built, and people traded. Arbiter would eventually come and kill SSJN, later becoming a big group fight. Before that happened however, the first day of Blocktoberfest 2 would end up being the largest peaceful, organized congregation of players.

Through October

The event was still active for a while, many people coming just to see what it was all about and meet with others.

2021

There was a small anniversary planned for October 31st, 2021, but that didn't go anywhere and besides that there were no known events during October, only showing how much the server was declining in 2021.

Blocktoberfest 3 (2022)

Despite the year before seeing no activity, Liketinos, Vendell, and jakic organized a Blocktoberfest 2022 at -7400 -8700. Some players who came for its three year anniversary included Coffofin, Olype, TWISTEDINSANE, GargantuanSalmon, and 2Chest.

10 minutes in, Terjanq swooped onto the Blocktoberfest island, quickly getting into a drawn out underground battle with Olype and coffofin. He killed Olype, before Coffofin killed him, stopping his potential onslaught of Blocktoberfest 2022.
